Finding your Voice

A leadership cohort for senior women in agencies

happy hq
In agencies, ideas are currency, but far too many brilliant women never get theirs into circulation. Not because the ideas aren’t strong, but because rooms move fast, hierarchies speak louder, and confidence is often mistaken for credibility.

Meanwhile…

  • AI is flattening originality
  • Panel line-ups look the same year after year
  • “Leadership voices” still echo the familiar

We need women who will:

  • Push back when something feels off
  • Show up with clarity, not apology
  • Step into influence without waiting for permission

This cohort is for women who have something worth saying and are done watching others say it first.

Why women’s voices are so vital

When women speak up, the work gets smarter, the culture gets braver, and clients take notice.

  • Better thinking at the table – Different voices lead to stronger creative and commercial decisions.
  • Stronger client relationships – Clear, confident communication builds trust fast.
  • Leaders who are seen and listened to – Thought leadership that’s persuasive, not performative.
  • A culture that backs women to lead – Visibility shifts what (and who) gets valued.

This isn’t a “women’s initiative.” It’s a commercial strategy.

What we cover

Not theory. Practice.

Part One: Define Your Mark

  • The ideas and perspective you want to be known for
  • How you naturally hold attention in rooms that matter
  • Messaging that lands and sticks

Part Two: Use Your Voice

  • Speaking up in meetings where decisions are made
  • Owning space on panels, in pitches, and in the press
  • Building a presence online that reflects leadership, not self-promotion

By the end, participants won’t be “trying to speak up”; they’ll be leading conversations and shaping influence.

Personalised Playbook

Each participant receives a personalised digital playbook at the end of the cohort. Built around their individual voice, communication patterns and goals, it captures the key frameworks, reflections and next steps from the programme, so the work has a life beyond the final session.

 Format

  • Six-week cohort (every two weeks) to maintain momentum and practice
  • Virtual and in-person
  • Always live coaching and peer-to-peer feedback

Who it’s for

  • Women already creating impact – who want their voice to match the scale of their contribution
  • Women ready to step into visible leadership and shape what happens next

Women ready to be heard, recognised, and influentia

Session 1 | Thursday 10 September | Know Your Mark

In agencies, influence isn’t about speaking more. It’s about whether your voice carries weight in the rooms that matter. This opening session helps you define the mark you want to leave, understand your communication style, and show up with clarity and authority. We’ll work through the ideas you want to be known for, how you naturally hold attention, and how to shape your thinking into messages that land and stick.

Session 2 | Thursday 17 September | Own Your Story

Most senior women can talk fluently about their work. Fewer can talk fluently about themselves. This session is about building a personal narrative that feels true, not rehearsed. How you got here, what you stand for, and why that matters – shaped into something you can use in a pitch, an intro, or a room where you need to make an impression fast, without it feeling like a performance.

Session 3 | Thursday 1 October | Speak Up in the Room

You know the moment. Someone says what you were about to say and gets the credit. Or you make a point, and it lands, then someone else makes the same point, and the room responds. This session is about tools and practice for speaking with clarity and conviction when it counts.

Session 4 | Thursday 8 October | Build Your Platform

Influence doesn’t stop when you leave the room. This session looks at how to show up in the places your clients, peers, and industry are watching – panels, press, LinkedIn, podcasts – in a way that feels like leadership, not icky self-promotion.

Session 5 | Thursday 15 October | Pull It Together

Everything from the previous four sessions gets put to work. You’ll refine your voice, tighten your message, and prepare your short talk for the finale. The peer feedback in this session is the sharpest it’s been. Everyone in the room knows what good looks like by now, everyone championing each other.

Session 6 | Wednesday 22 October | Finding Your Voice, Live

The in-person finale. Each participant delivers a short talk to the group, with Ellen C Scott in the room. What started as an idea you were done watching others say becomes something you’ve now said yourself, out loud, in a room that matters.
